This post is going to be about my relationship with my sister. Sorry, I haven’t posted any thing in a while, before Xmas, I lost my sister, my best friend. I miss her dearly. She was special and unique. She would protect the ones she loved and believe me she would tell you how she felt if you crossed her. She loved God deeply and was very spiritual. O how I miss that laugh. that smile that giggle. Infectious. She was older than me, only 2 years. She was my protector, but I felt like I was her big sis sometimes. She always came to me for advise, but funny, she never took it. I would always say, you know you ain’t gonna take my advice, but boy did she love her family. She cherished her family so much. Wow it was devastating to hear those words. She’s gone. It broke my heart and my heart is still breaking. I search for answers as to why, when I find my self crying so hard. I look to God and my family for strength and I know they say it gets better, but when I hear those words, it just feels like a stab in the heart. I know the pain will probably get better after time but the hurt will still be there. I have the memories, but forever will she be in my heart. I say to you sister, you were the best, thanks for being you. You will always be in my thoughts. Love you Miss you dearly, I feel your warm embrace. I see you, sipping on your coffee and reading your newspaper. Gone to soon, but not forgotten. Never. I say to any one reading this. Cherish the ones you love and tell them that you love them. You never know, you might see the person today and you might not see them tomorrow. Tomorrow is not promised to anyone..
